06 About me

Dancing since age five.

“Granddaughter of a dance-floor king.

Born in Oslo to a Polish family, Aleksandra took her first belly dance steps at five years old while living in Iran — and never stopped. Theatre stages, fire shows, national podiums and European titles later, she brings a lifetime of dance to Sydney.

Age 5 · Iran

First belly dance lessons — the beginning of a life in oriental dance.

Theatre years · Poland

Actress in Lower Silesian theatres — spoken word, pantomime, puppetry — and creator of fire show performances.

2009–2018 · The podiums

First places with oriental group “Damascus”, Grand Prix with modern dance team “Blitz”, medals at “Nights of the Orient” Kraków and “Raks Glam” tabla solo.

2016 · European stage

First place, European Bodybuilding Shows — Women's Bikini Fitness, Sopot. Discipline meets grace.

Today · Sydney

Licensed instructor teaching weekly classes in the CBD and performing across the city's stages, restaurants and celebrations.

08 Questions, answered

“But I've never danced…”

I've never danced before — can I really join? +

Yes — and you'll be in good company. The 6pm open class assumes zero experience. You'll learn the foundations step by step, at your pace. Most students walk in nervous and walk out glowing.

I'm not flexible or fit. Is that a problem? +

Not at all. Belly dance is famously gentle on the body and welcomes every shape, age and fitness level. We focus on progress, not perfection — your body will thank you either way.

What do I wear to my first class? +

Anything comfortable you can move in — leggings and a top are perfect. A hip scarf makes everything more fun but it's optional. Bring a bottle of water.

Can I start mid-term? +

Message Aleksandra — she'll find the right starting point for you, or book you a casual drop-in ($40) so you can jump straight in.

Do you perform outside Sydney? +

Yes. Shows outside Sydney are welcome — additional travel costs may apply depending on the venue.

How does booking a show work? +

Send the date, venue and occasion. You'll get a tailored proposal; a 50% deposit locks in your date and the balance is due on the day of the event.
